Darfuris celebrate international women’s day

KOLONGA (9 Mar.) – Refugees from Kolonga and Farchana refugee camps in eastern Chad celebrated yesterday international women’s day with the participation of NGOs working at the camps.

KOLONGA (9 Mar.) – Refugees from Kolonga and Farchana refugee camps in eastern Chad celebrated yesterday international women’s day with the participation of NGOs working at the camps. Zahra Ishag, a refugee in Kolonga camp said the celebration embodies the determination to achieve most of the ambitions regarding work and education. In Farshana the celebration included exhibitions and sports. The refugees appealed that women should be protected from violence in conflict areas.
