The employees fled the locality premises to safeguard the documents and for their personal safety. The people were fleeing violence between the Nuwayba and Misseriya, which are considered Arab tribes. A member of the South Darfur legislative assembly, Haroun Abu Saddah, told Radio Dabanga that Kass is flooded with new IDPs who acutely needed shelter and presently occupy the premises of the locality administration, the court as well as the schools.
