Bashir and Deby meet in Khartoum over Darfur border problems

President Omar al Bashir and Chadian president Idriss Deby Itno want to transform the border area into an area of mutual exchange of interest. President Bashir related this at the opening of the bilateral  talks with the Chadian president. Normalization of relations with Chad will stabilize the border area, according to Bashir. President Deby confirmed that his visit to Khartoum reflects the wish to normalize relation beween both sides and commitment to peace and stability.
