Gunmen rob three lorries on the road west of Kass, South Darfur

Three passenger lorries were robbed by armed men on Monday on the road between Kass and the villages of Wadi Malla west of the city. Radio Dabanga learnt that gunmen intercepted three trucks that were returning from the market of Kass while a fourth truck escaped without stopping as demanded by the gunmen. A source in Kass said that some of the passengers fled into the area of Jebel Tanga, fearing that the gunmen would seize anything in their possession including money and mobile phones.
