Darfuri students protest fees at University of Khartoum
Darfuri students at the University of Khartoum protested on Tuesday in a peaceful march because they had not been allowed to continue their studies following a standstill in the negotiations with the university administration over the collective fees. The secretary of the Executive Committee of the Association of Darfur students at the University of Khartoum, Ibrahim Abakr, said that Tuesday was the last day for registration. At the time the 4,500 Darfuri students were not able to register.
