Zalingei police pursue student protesters after shooting 2 dead

Police and security agents pursued the student protesters in the town of Zalingei yesterday, following the killing of two of students shot dead by police inside the city market. They chased the students up inside the Grand Mosque. Witnesses said that the sheikh who serves as Imam of the Hassa Hissa Mosque was present at the time in the Great Mosque. He was beaten by police and taken to the hospital in a coma. Also it was reported that following the events at the university, students gathered around the hospital with their colleagues, chanting against the government.
