37 arrested after house search in Zamzam IDP camp
Security forces arrested 37 displaced persons in Zamzam camp including two women and they seized seven cars. A witness told Radio Dabanga the camp was surrounded by heavely armed police and they started a large-scale house search from the morning until the evening.

A witness told Radio Dabanga the camp was surrounded by heavely armed police and they started a large-scale house search from the morning until the evening. Passers-by were beaten and a number of displaced people where injured. Witnesses said the authorities closed the southern gateway to El Fasher. It is not clear why authorities searched the camp.
A camp coordinator called for the UN and the Security Council to intervene and to protect the displaced.
