Aid work limited in Darfur territory controlled by SLM-AW

Some territories in central Darfur controlled by the SLM-AW rebels are off-limits to aid workers The Sudan’s Liberation Movement headed by Abdul Wahid Mohammed Nur (SLM-AW) appealed to humanitarian organizations to assist people affected by the Darfur crisis in general, and in particular those in Jebel Marra.

Nimr Abdul Rahman, the official spokesperson of the faction, told Radio Dabanga that the humanitarian situation deteriorated in the regions of Golo, Nertiti, Rococo, Korong, Kakor and Karank Bai in Jebel Mara after the government prevented humanitarian organizations from reaching those places.
