Assault and beat residents of Zamzam campAbu Tira forces assaulted and looted refugees from North Darfur’s Zamzam camp on Monday, witnesses told Radio Dabanga.A group of Abu Tira members allegedly assaulted Mohamed Adam Tahir Sharaf al-Din and Elmurdi Bakheet Dakam — refugees who live in Zamzam camp.A witness told Radio Dabanga that about 18 Abu Tira personnel driving a car at nine on Wednesday evening arrived at the house of Mohammed Adam in Zamzam camp (B block) and mobile phones and goods shop inside the house. His cousin Elmurdi Bakheet was also in the house.The witness stated that the forces stole all the money, mobile phones and goods and searched the house for all valuable items. The two victims were found at the suburbs of the neighborhood in coma with signs of torture and beating.
