Looting in South Darfur
On Thursday an armed group shot at a car 5 km outside the town of Kass, South Darfur a source told Radio Dabanga. The car was traveling from Kass to Nyala, and slowed down to cross a ditch which had been previously used as a trench for fighting. The armed militia hidden from view shot at the car seriously injuring a policeman who was amongst the passengers stated the source. The militia looted 6,000 Sudanese pounds from the passengers and stole their mobile phones. The source said the policeman was taken to a hospital in Kass for treatment.
