Man arrested in Gereida, South Darfur
A man was arrested in Gereida in South Darfur, 15 days ago by two members of the security police, a source told Radio Dabanga. Zain Suleiman Inbrahim, a travel agent working in Gereida market was arrested in his home and taken to an unknown location. The source said the circumstances of his arrest remain unknown. The man’s family said that they haven’t heard anything about his situation, and are worried he may be tortured by the security police. The family appeal to the local and national governments to release Zain Suleiman Ibrahim or take him to court, and allow the family as well as lawyers to visit him.
