Food and medicine needed in Camp Rwanda
The residents of internally displaced people (IDPs) Camp Rwanda in North Darfur appeal to the local and international humanitarian organizations to aide them with assistance, a witness told Radio Dabanga. The residents made up of 150 widows, 100 elderly people and 500 orphans were facing extremely harsh environments following events in Tebra in the last year. The orphans have resorted to begging in markets as they were expelled from school for not paying tuition fees. Suffering from a lack of food and medicine they ask the humanitarian community for assistance with aid as they are at risk of disease and starvation.
