Leaders of Kalma camp ready to meet WFP

Leaders of Kalma camp ask for the World Food Programme (WFP) to meet with them to solve the problem of no food aid being distributed caused by the misunderstanding over re-registration cards, a witness said to Radio Dabanga.The issue began when internally displaced people (IDP) of the camp refused to change their ID cards without meeting the WFP first. They feared services may be cut, or IDPs forced to go back to their villages. The WFP refused to continue giving aid if the new cards were not issued. Sheikh Ali Abbdul Rahman leader at the camp said that they were ready to sit down and talk with the WFP to solve this problem as soon as possible.
