Kandobi camp looted in West Darfur
The displaced persons Kandobi camp in West Darfur was looted yesterday evening by a group of five armed men traveling on camels, a witness told Radio Dabanga.
Five gunmen wearing military uniforms fired shots to intimidate residents and looted a two houses, stealing four sheep and furniture.
One resident was beaten amidst the incident and taken to hospital for treatment, said the witness.
Car accident kills man
A man was killed and others injured when a Land Cruiser carrying 20 people traveling out of Kandobi camp towards El Geneina overturned.
A source said Abdulla Bandora died on the spot, whilst seven others were injured and taken to hospital in El Geneina.
