Border guards injure man in drunk shoot out
On Sunday evening a man was injured when he was caught in the cross fire of clashes between border intelligence guards, in Abu Shok displaced persons camp, near El Fasher, in North Darfur. A witness told Radio Dabanga the border guards, a government affiliated militia, were drinking alcohol in Abu Shok unit 27, and started shooting at each other. Many residents ran away from the fighting. A resident was hit by a stray bullet in his thigh and lower leg. Some houses were also reported as damaged. The police intervened stopping the fighting and arrested three of the guards.
