Zam Zam primary pupils need support to sit exams in El Fasher

Teachers and parent of students at Zam Zam internally displaced persons camp, near El Fasher in North Darfur have asked for the educational authorities to begin immediately to prepare support and transportation for primary school pupils traveling to the area to sit their certificate examinations. A teacher told Radio Dabanga that over the past two years, there has been a lack of adequate support in housing, food provision and transportation for pupils to travel out of the camps to the exam centre in El Fasher. He called for authorities to take into account the difficult conditions of people living in displaced camps and provide assistance accordingly to allow pupils to continue with schooling.
