Air raid kills five, injures three in South Kordofan, Sudan

Five people have been killed, including three children, and three more children were injured when a ‘Sudan Air Force Antonov’ dropped eight bombs on the village of El Fid in South Kordofan on Friday. According to Colonel Al Gadi Rumboy, military spokesman for the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF), Halima Mustafa Hassan (25), Umm Masar Mohamed Hassan (18), Akram Ahmed Hamed (7), Aljenna Ezzeldeen Mohamed (7) and Alzobeir Hamed Abdul Rahman (4) were killed in the raid on El Fid. The injured include Youssef Ismail Alfaki (15) and this two siblings Zahra Alsheikh Ibrahim (5) and Osman Alsheikh Ibrahim (3). On behalf of the SRF, Col Rumboy condemned the government’s air attack, that he said deliberately targeted civilians.File photo
