One killed, another injured as militiamen attack lorry in South Darfur
One person was allegedly killed and another wounded during an assault on a lorry in the locality of Buram, South Darfur. One of the passengers, Hamid Ali Jubeir Abu Gharra, told Radio Dabanga that militiamen on horses opened fire on the lorry en route from Nyala to Buram city on Monday. Passenger Eisa Bahish was killed and Mohamed Rahama was injured. The residents of Buram locality complained about the proliferation of diseases like malaria, typhoid and diarrhoea as well as about a lack of medicines and high prices.They demanded the authorities provide health care staff and medicines.
