Rabies kills two in Ed Daein, East Darfur

Two people have reportedly died of rabies in the hospital of Ed Daein, the capital of East Darfur, one of them on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday. A relative of one of the victims explained to Radio Dabanga the deceased were bitten by rabid dogs and immediately transferred to the Ed Daein hospital.According to the relative, the patients died because there were no medicines available, referring to the fire, earlier this month, at the immunisation office in Ed Daein, that destroyed all vaccines stored in the building.
