Two children injured in South Darfur air raid
Two children were injured due to aerial bombardments on the village of Adam Kambal Nyala locality, in South Darfur. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, multiple sources from the area reported that on Monday, an Antonov dropped three bombs at Adam Kambal village, located 15km south of El Salam camp in Nyala locality, injuring Salma Adam Taher (9) and Hamid Ishag (7), and killing nine sheep. The sources said that the air raids also targeted a basic school district Tabaldiyat, dropping four bombs at the area. Water wells were targeted too, but were not hit. “The bombs fell 10 to 15 metres from the wells.” According to the sources, the Antonov targeted Ghireiga village with eight bombs, but the extent of the losses was not yet clear. Sheikh Mahjoub Adam Tabaldiya of El Salam camp for the displaced condemned the indiscriminate bombing of civilians by the Sudanese Air Force.
