Three women raped by herders in North Darfur
In Tawila locality, North Darfur, armed herdsmen raped three women on Tuesday. A farmer from the area told Radio Dabanga that the “government-backed herders” had released their livestock on the farmlands of the women. When the women arrived at their farmlands, they protested. The herdsmen then raped them at gunpoint. The farmer, on behalf of the farmers of Tawila locality, demanded from the authorities to stop the continuous herders’ attacks on farmers.
