At least eight villages destroyed in area west of North Darfur’s El Fasher
The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, together with other militiamen, attacked Sarafaya area, El Fasher locality in North Darfur, on Friday. At least eight villages were destroyed. An unknown number of people were killed and wounded. “On Friday morning, Rapid support militias in about 150 vehicles loaded with various weapons were joined by Janjaweed on camels and horses at the area of Sarafaya, west of El Fasher city,” several people who fled the area reported to Radio Dabanga.
