Central Darfur bans weapons in public places
The authorities of Central Darfur State have put a ban on people bearing arms in public places. During a visit to Wadi Salih locality on Tuesday, the Governor of Central Darfur, Jaafar Abdel Hakam Ishag, announced the prohibition of carrying weapons and wearing masks, or “any means to cover the face”, at markets and other public places.The Governor stated that his government’s priorities for the near future will focus on security and stability in Central Darfur. During a visit to Wadi Salih locality on Tuesday, the Governor of Central Darfur, Jaafar Abdel Hakam Ishag, announced the prohibition of carrying weapons and wearing masks, or “any means to cover the face”, at markets and other public places.
The Governor stated that his government’s priorities for the near future will focus on security and stability in Central Darfur.
