Two men killed on their farms in South Darfur
Militia elements killed a displaced man nearby a camp for internally displaced people in Nyala locality, South Darfur, on Wednesday. In the adjacent Bielel locality, a farmer was shot dead on Thursday. One of the Sheikhs of Otash camp told Radio Dabanga that the pro-government militiamen on camels shot Abdallah Adam while he was working on his farm in the area north of the camp. He died immediately from his wounds. The Sheikh appealed to the authorities to provide protection for the displaced people who go to their farms near the camp. Bielel farmer killed A farmer was shot dead, and two people were wounded, on Thursday in South Darfur’s Bielel locality. The incident happened in Abo Odam area. A nomad entered his cattle onto the farm of Musa Mohamed Musa, a source told Radio Dabanga, to let them graze. Later, Musa gathered the animals and to bring them to a stable, created for abandoned livestock in the area. The nomad appeared when Musa was on his way to the stable, and shot him dead on the spot. Two women sustained injuries.Abduction in North Darfur In a separate incident on Thursday, pro-government militiamen kidnapped Suleiman Ishag, a displaced of Korma camp in El Fasher locality, North Darfur. The men also beat a number of the displaced people. They have looted more than thousand heads of cattle from the camp residents.
