Displaced detained in Zalingei, Central Darfur

Security officers detained a resident of Hamidiya camp for the displaced in Zalingei locality, Central Darfur, on Sunday. The coordinator of the Central Darfur camps told Radio Dabanga that agents of the National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS) detained Bishara Ishag Ismail (35), living in Block B of the Hamidiya camp, on Sunday. “A group of NISS agents in a Land Cruiser held Ismail by force at the Hamidiya bus station, upon his return from a hospital in Zalingei where he had been treated.” The coordinator reported that Ismail was taken to the Security General Command office in Zalingei, capital of Central Darfur.
