Convoy, bus ambushed in North Darfur

Five people were killed and seven wounded in an attack by gunmen on a commercial convoy in North Darfur on Friday. In Um Keddada locality, a passenger bus was ambushed on Saturday. The convoy, existing of 15 vehicles, was on its way from Mellit to Tina on Friday afternoon.  A group of militiamen in three Land Cruisers, mounted with a Dushka machine-guns, ambushed the convoy in the area of Sani Haya, about 15 km north of Mellit, one of the passengers told Radio Dabanga. “The gunmen shot at us, killing five passengers and injuring seven.
