35 killed in attack on gold mines in South Kordofan, Sudan
At least 35 people were killed and about thirty others were injured in an attack by a group of armed men on two gold mines in Talodi, South Kordofan, on Thursday night.
The governor of South Kordofan, Eisa Adam Abakar, told the press that the motives behind the attack are unknown. He added that the gunmen also robbed the people in the area and torched their houses.
