Downpour destroys school in Sirba, West Darfur

A basic school building was entirely destroyed by heavy rains in Sirba locality, West Darfur, on Sunday evening.
The spokesman for the Sirba camps told Radio Dabanga that the 12 classrooms of the Murou basic school for boys and girls, the teachers’ office, and the food store were destabilised and fell down because of the rains.
He called on the West Darfur Ministry of Education, Unicef and other aid organisations for assistance to rebuild the school.
