Gaga refugee camp
Ishag Abdelkarim Ishag, a Darfuri refugee living at Gaga camp in eastern Chad, was injured on Tuesday in an attack on his home.
A camp resident told Radio Dabanga that four armed men attempted to raid Ishag’s home. “They fired at him and he was shot in the foot. The attackers fled when neighbours who heard the shooting arrived on the scene,” he said.
The next day, when the robbers attempted to plunder Ishag’s house for a second time, security forces were able to capture three of them.
