Ministry to improve veterinary services in North Darfur
The federal Ministry of Animal Resources will establish vaccination centres in a number of North Darfur localities.
The North Darfur Minister of Livestock, Anwar Ishag, told Radio Dabanga on Tuesday that existing veterinary clinics will be restored, and new ones as well as vaccination centres will be set up in Um Keddada, Mellit, Kutum localities, and other parts of the state.
He said that the federal Ministry also agreed in principle to establish “a first-class abattoir in El Fasher, capital of North Darfur, and second- and third-class abattoirs in the localities”.
