‘South Darfur govt., displaced need to cooperate’: Governor
The Governor of South Darfur has promised displaced farmers in the state that their harvest will be secured. He urged them to form committees to discuss their problems with the authorities.
During visits to Kalma, Dereig and Otash camps for the displaced near the state capital of Nyala, Governor Adam El Faki wished all displaced a blessed Eid Al Adha.
In his speeches, he told camp residents that the South Darfur government has developed a plan to secure the harvest. He promised to discuss the issue with them after the Eid holiday.
He emphasised the importance of cooperation in identifying the needs of the displaced and find solutions to their problems, and urged the camp residents to form a committee of delegates to discuss their requirements with the state authorities.
