Bandits kill three men in North Darfur’s Tawila

A source in the area reported that four gunmen riding two motorcycles shot dead Yahya Tiran (40 years) and El Haja Hawa (74 years) from Rwanda camp when they traveled from El Fasher to Tawila.
On Thursday morning, bandits killed Mohamed Harun Mohamed on the road to Gamra, west of Tawila. An activist told Radio Dabanga that they were riding three motorcycles and four camels at the time of the attack, which took place in front of several young children accompanying Mohamed.
“The attackers demanded him to hand over his belongings. When Mohamed explained to them that he did not carry anything, they shot him dead instantly.”
The children fled the scene and arrived at the gathering place of those fleeing from Jebel Marra, and informed the people about the incident.
Militiamen roaming in Tawila locality have reportedly begun to charge 'passage fees' from people fleeing bombardments in northern Jebel Marra.
