Darfur youths detained at Nierteti bus station

Izzeldin Abdullah Abaker (18) and Ahmed Mustafa (21) were both detained by Military Intelligence personnel in Nierteti, Central Darfur on Wednesday.

A witness told Radio Dabanga that the youths were picked up at the bus station in the city, and taken to the Military Intelligence offices. Abkar lives in a camp for the displaced in the south of Nierteti, while Ahmed Mustafa lives in the Goz Beida neighbourhood.

“The agents did not explain the reason or motive for the arrests,” the listener said.
