The weight of a loaf of bread has witnessed a remarkable decrease; as a one pound can get three pieces of bread in Khartoum state.
On Sunday one of the housewives in Khartoum told Radio Dabanga that the queuing lines have returned in in Khartoum districts. Also she pointed to the soaring of transportation tariff and cooking gas. The same problem has appeared in El Kalakla and Jabra districts, where people stand in long lines without getting any bread. Some bakeries have been closed because of lack of flour
