South Darfur Commissioner assaults supervisor in Gereida
The Commissioner of Gereida beat and injured the superintendent of the locality’s stores last week.
On Thursday, Gereida Commissioner Eisa El Sayer took two solar energy panels and four beds from the locality’s rest house.
“This happened without my permission or even my knowledge,” the victim, Ahmed Fedeil, told Radio Dabanga from Gereida Hospital on Friday.
“When I requested an explanation, the commissioner went berserk. He began beating me severely, and when I fell on the ground he kicked me as well” he said.
The supervisor added that he did not file a complaint yet.
