Air raids: Four dead in Darfur, parts of Blue Nile hit
A man and three children were killed in aerial bombardments in East Jebel Marra in South Darfur this morning.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a listener reported from Kidinjeir village, west of Malam in East Jebel Marra that Abdelkarim Yagoub (35) and Selma Omar (12) were killed in an air raid on the area.
He said that two young herders and eight of their cows were killed as well.
Blue Nile
Aerial bombardments continued in Blue Nile state as well.
The Sudanese Air Force dropped at least 44 barrel bombs on various areas in Bau locality on Friday, Arno Ngutulu Lodi, the spokesman for the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) said in a statement today.
“On Friday morning, an Antonov dropped 11 bombs on the area of Miyake, four on Fouj, and four on Ulu,” he stated.
“The area of Jundi was hit by 13 bombs, and Jargouli and Jebel Barfa by nine. No casualties were reported, but the raids caused fear and panic among residents.”
