Members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), driving two Land Cruisers, stopped a commercial vehicle near Fanga area in East Jebel Marra in the morning. The vehicle was on its way from Korgo to El Fasher.
The attackers ordered the driver, named Ali Dawud Adam, to disembark, and seized his vehicle that was loaded with goods. They fled with six passengers, including three women, to an unknown destination, Adam told Radio Dabanga.
He went to the military garrison in Fanga to file the attack. “The soldiers did not move to chase the perpetrators.”
The six abducted people are Sarah Ali Hussein (15), Salma Omar Yagoub (17), Maria, Yousif Abkar (28), Shamsuddin Saleh (40), Daoud Hamid (53), and El Haj Abkar Adam (65).
