Sudan activists call for release of political detainees

Students Abdelmoneim Abdelmoula and Bakhit Abdelkareem are being held at a detention centre of the National Security and Intelligence Service (NISS) “for a long time without any charges”, an activist reported to this station.
On 22 May, the State Security Prosecution continued the detention of Mustafa Adam, Director of El Zarga Organisation and Khalafallah El Afif, Director of the Tracks Training Centre, raided by NISS officers on 29 February.
The legal sector of the Sudanese Congress Party has filed an appeal at the Constitutional Court against the NISS concerning the incommunicado detention of Sabah El Zein Omar, member of the Independent Students' Congress, for fifty days.
