Missing passengers return from Darfur road robbery

Six of the passengers who went missing after an attack on a vehicle on its way to Gireida in South Darfur returned on Wednesday. Several passengers remain missing.
Gunmen attacked a commercial vehicle on Monday, between Umu Khairat and Gireida. A number went missing, however, six were able to return to Ditoe and Joghana administrative units on Monday, aftera long trip from El Taweel.
Three of them sustained injuries during the attack, two of whom were transported to Nyala hospital on Wednesday. Their names are Khaltoum Juma Mohamed and Hamdi Abdo Zakaria.
A brother of one of the victims told Radio Dabanga that six passengers have not yet returned: Ibrahim Mohamed Abdallah, Sadia Adam Hamid, Mustafa Adam Daoud, Ali Suleiman Mousa, Sadam Mohamed Ali and Mousa Ahmed Abdallah.
The robbers, eight gunmen on camels, made-off with the entire contents of the vehicle on Monday.
