Woman killed in air raids in South Kordofan

A mother of two was killed on Sunday in an air raid by the Sudanese army in Kulkudo, Haban locality in South Kordofan. The Antonov dropped six bombs on the village destroying homes and causing residents to flee, said Sudan people’s Liberation Movement spokesman Arnu Ngutulu Lodi to Radio Dabanga. ‘The raid comes at a time when civil society groups and the international community are demanding the end of atrocities against the people of South Kordofan, Blue NIle and Darfur,’ said Lodi. These raids show the determination of the government to continue its targeting of civilians by air raids or though starvation by blocking humanitarian aid to the region, added the spokesman.
