WFP resumes distribution after threats at Darfur camp
The World Food Programme on Sunday resumed distributing monthly rations for displaced people in Hamidiya Camp after a pause for several days for security reasons. The WFP security department had ordered staff to stay home last week after gunmen made threats at the organization’s headquarters in Zalingei.

In an interview with Radio Dabanga, the coordinator of camps in Zalingei said that UNAMID should strengthen its protection of the camps because they have become the target of the government.
