On Monday night, a fire that broke out at camp Murnei for the displaced in West Darfur, resulted in the destruction of 12 houses with all their contents.

One of the displaced told Radio Dabanga that the effected families are currently living in the open without food or cover under the hot weather of these days.
He appealed to the authorities and organisations to provide help to those affected.
