Wave of arrest of Darfuris in Khartoum, Mayo and Umdurman
The security authorities arrested seventeen people in Khartoum, most of them being Darfuri university students belonging to the United Popular Front (UPF) which supports Abdul Wahid. The arrests were carried out on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The arrests were carried out on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. At the same time, the security forces launched arrest campaigns targeting Darfuri activists in Mayo, including Musa Bassy. A student activist told Radio Dabanga that the security authorities arrested eight Darfuri students from Comboni school in Khartoum and stated the arrested students also include Mohi Eldeen Ahmed Jamil from Umdurman Islamic University and Abu El Gasim Jaksa from Elzaeem Elazhari University.
