War Child Canada director Sudan interrogated in Darfur
Security forces have interrogated the country director of the international NGO War Child Canada for four hours in El Geneina, on Sunday. Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a local source said that Dr. Fatih El Rahman Mohamed, country director of War Child Canada was taken from his office by the security forces at 3pm. He was released at 7pm, after intervention of the sultan of the Masalit tribe, Sultan Saad Abdel Rahman Bahreldin. Locals denounced the “intimidation and arbitrary detention of the director”.
