W. Darfur official says displaced complain of reduced food rations
The state of West Darfur disclosed that it has received complaints from displaced people in the 26 camps in the state about the reduction of food rations distributed by foreign organizations.
The state of West Darfur disclosed that it has received complaints from displaced people in the 26 camps in the state about the reduction of food rations distributed by foreign organizations. The state and federal goverments have formed a joint committee of their ministries of Humanitarian Affairs, in order to identify the needs of the state in terms of food and materials for shelter. Deputy Commissioner of Humanitarian Aid Ismail Adam said the commission had received complaints from displaced people about the reduction of food rations, which were reduced from 9 kilograms to 6 kilograms.
