Villager killed by stray bullets in North Darfur
A resident of Farwa village, five kilometres south of Tabit in Tawila locality, was fatally hit by stray bullets on Monday evening.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a neighbour reported that seven militiamen on camels stormed the village at 8 am. “They fired around them at random,” he said.
“Amira El Hilu, aged 27, was hit and died instantly. She left behind three children.”
The source added that the attackers then robbed the villagers of 250 heads of cattle, and took them into the direction of El Malam.
