Village pillaged, torched in South Darfur
Militiamen attacked the village of Awlad Amin in Mershing locality, South Darfur, on Tuesday. “Government-backed Janjaweed on camels stormed Awlad Amin village in the area of Abu Hamra at about 11am today,” a resident of Abu Hamra told Radio Dabanga. “They robbed the villagers of their money, property, and livestock, and torched more than 12 houses.
