Residents of South Darfur who have purchased vehicles seized from Boko Haram in Libya and the Central African Republic have complained of the authorities’ delay in licensing them.
They told Radio Dabanga said that while the South Darfur state government encouraged them to buy the vehicles, and promised to license them, it has not fulfilled its promise thus far.
They described what has happened to them as “a second fraud experience”, because they paid a lot of money for the vehicles, brought from Libya and the Central African Republic.
