Vehicle of NCP secretary hijacked in Central Darfur

Militiamen hijacked a Toyota on Tuesday on the road from Nyala, the capital of South Darfur, to Garsila in Central Darfur. A relative of the driver, Mansour Adam Sikka, told Radio Dabanga that government-backed militiamen intercepted the Toyota, carrying a number of passengers, with a hail of gunfire in the area between Tor and Zalingei. They took them to an unknown destination. The relative noted that the vehicle belongs to Mohamed Ishag, the Secretary of the ruling National Congress Party of the Wadi Saleh locality.
