Unidentified gunmen injure 4 at Darfuri refugee camp

Four people were injured, including a woman, at Malha Camp for Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad, as unidentified gunmen attempted to carry out a robbery. The gunmen entered the camp on Tuesday night with a view to stealing. They sparked terror among the residents. Witnesses said the gunmen stabbed three men with bayonets when they attempted to resist, and a woman was wounded in the hand. The four injured residents were taken to Gereida Hospital in east Chad to receive treatment, while the gunmen fled to an unknown destination. A witness recounted the event for Radio Dabanga from eastern Chad.
